“Anderson & Low” have worked together since 1990. Their work includes portraiture, architectural studies, abstract images, reportage, nudes, and landscape and is noted for attention to concept, form, lighting, and printing. Their work is in an extensive list of public collections including: The Met Museum, NYC, V & A Museum, London, NPGs of the UK and Australia, National Gallery, Australia, to name but a few. This image is part of a series entitled ‘Nudes’: “In this series the nude evokes deliberately classical images, which are studies of form and lighting. The images here, deliberately iconographic, relate to notions of love, romance, and classicism.”
