Below is a small sample of the collection of works that Henry will have with him at the fair. Do not hesitate to get in contact, should you have any queries about any of the works in his collection.

Ludwig von Hofmann, (German 1861-1945), Horses and Riders by the Water, c.1908, watercolour on paper, signed with monogram (lower left), 31cm x 24cm, (52cm x 44cm framed), £6,250

Hofmann’s work is most notable for its profound and pervasive homoerotic subtext. At a time when European society was grappling with rigid moral codes, his pictures offered a sanctuary for the male gaze. His compositions frequently center on slender, ephemeral young men—often nude or semi-clad—engaged in leisurely pursuits like bathing, dancing, or lounging in sun-drenched landscapes.

Rustam Khamdamov, (Soviet/Uzbekistan, b.1944), Male Nude with Scarf, c.1997, pencil on paper, 31cm x 22cm (40cm x 33cm framed.), £800

Rustam Khamdamov is a singular figure in world cinema and fine arts. Born in 1944 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, his work is defined by a lush, avant-garde aesthetic that often clashed with the rigid expectations of the Soviet film industry. He is widely considered a "film poet," whose visual language leans more toward surrealism and fashion illustration than traditional narrative. Khamdamov is a also celebrated artist. His artwork is held in prestigious collections, including the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow and the Zimmerli Art Museum in the United States.

Jacob Kramer, (Ukrainian/British 1892-1962), Standing Figure, oil on canvas, 69cm x 41cm (83cm x 58cm framed), £3,950

Painter, draughtsman and printmaker, born in Klincy, Ukraine. His father and uncle were both artists. Kramer arrived in England in 1900, settling in a Jewish colony in Leeds. He remained in Leeds throughout his life. Initially studying at the Leeds School of Art, he went on to study at the Slade School in London. Here he befriended other leading artists of the day, including Augustus John, David Bomberg and William Roberts, and he was involved in the Vorticist movement led by Roberts and Wyndham Lewis, although was never really a follower of the style. Kramer was one of Britain’s greatest artists in the 1920s and 1930s, renowned for his sharp, angular paintings influenced by Expressionism, Cubism and Vorticism.

Michael Leonard, (British, 1933-2023, Leroy in a Blanket, 1970, acrylic on Masonite board, signed and dated (lower right), 51cm x 48cm (67cm x 70cm framed), Price on request

This work depicts Leroy, one of Michael’s favourite models of the early 1970s, in the artist’s flat in Egerton Gardens. It is one of Michael’s early male nude paintings, very much in his style of the time; close-tones atmospheric paintings with strong blocks of colour, influenced by abstraction. This is the first in a series of three pictures, all entitled Leroy in a Blanket.

Ian Rank-Broadley, (British, b.1952), Torso of Ryan, 2024, bronze, numbered 2/10, 57cm × 18cm × 40cm (incl. base), £8,500

Ian Rank-Broadley is one of the foremost sculptors working today. His effigy of the late Queen Elizabeth II appears on all UK and Commonwealth coinage from 1998. He has numerous other public works, including at the Armed Forces Memorial. Most recently, he created from life portraits of King Charles and the Queen.
